Showroom Coordinator / Receptionist

Overview of the Role

Our Showroom Coordinator / Receptionist serves as the face of the company, managing front-desk operations, greeting clients, and maintaining the visual appeal of the showroom.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reception & Communication: Greet visitors warmly, answer and direct phone calls, and manage general company emails.
  • Showroom Maintenance: Ensure product displays are organized, clean, up to date and visually appealing.
  • Sales Support: Assist project managers by guiding walk-in customers, explaining basic product features, and processing orders.
  • Scheduling: Assist in booking and confirming customer appointments and managing calendars for project managers.
  • Administrative Duties: Process transactions, track inventory levels, and manage office supplies.

Desired Qualifications

  • Customer Service: A warm, professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Organization: Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail and project management environment.
  • Tech-Savviness: Proficiency and/or willingness to learn scheduling software, Microsoft Office, and basic point of sale programs.
  • Communication: Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.

Hours & Scheduling

This role can be full-time or part-time and would be tailored to an individual’s strengths.

  • Part-Time: Can be structured as specific daily shifts (e.g., mornings/afternoons) or targeted days of the week to maximize peak showroom hours.
  • Full-Time: Includes all core front-desk duties alongside deeper, ongoing administrative support and showroom management.
